POLKKYfarm wood shavings provide a soft and pleasantly warm ground covering for animal shelters. It is also a safe choice, as studies show that the sanitary quality of the material is excellent. POLKKYfarm wood shavings are carefully sifted in order to maintain uniform quality.  The raw material used is artificially dried wood shavings, which are nearly dust-free and have the capacity to absorb more than twice their own weight in liquids. The material is also well-suited for pet beds and for composting.

Delivery by pallets

• One pallet contains 48 bales.
• Pallet size 1.2 x 1.7 x 2.4 m; one pallet contains approx. 9.6 m³ loose shavings.
• The pallets are packed in plastic and protected from the elements.

Bale weight approx. 20 kg

• New, more conveniently sized bales are easy to store and handle.
• The bale size is 0.4 x 0.28 x 0.8 m, the loose content 200 l wood shavings.
• The bales are packed in watertight shrink film made from recyclable PET plastic. The packaging plastic can be recycled or burned with wood.
