POLKKYsawn timber for building
POLKKYsawn timber products for use in building and as raw materials for industry. High quality POLKKYsawn timber products are sawn individually and precisely. Accurate milling ensures that the product reflects the best raw wood qualities. A dense grain structure, large heartwood proportion and smaller than average knots lend the wood its phenomenal workability and strength characteristics.
High quality standard and specialised timber products are well suited as raw materials for building and industry. Quality Pölkky timber products are known for their dimensional accuracy and high quality sawn surfaces.

Main grades
- U/S (US), fifth (V), sawfalling (SF), furniture quality (POLA), sixth (VI), schaal (VII).
- Sorting is carried out in accordance with standard sorting guidelines or as ordered by the customer.
- Mechanically stress-graded timber (C18, C24, C30).
Lengths
- Falling lengths 1.8 - 5.4 m in 30 or 10 cm modules
- Special deliveries cut to a length tolerance of +-–2 mm.

- Extra dry: 8 %, 10 %, 12 %
- Planed dry: 16 %
- Export dry: 18 %
